Having not been on holiday for donkeys year, this vlog was a lovely bit of escapism on a very chilly UK day. It seems this is a great time of year to visit Tenerife, but sshhhh don't tell anyone or it will be busy this time next year year rThanks Mr C, a great vlog.

Well deserved break for you. I usually do my own flights and accomodation. I get self catering so I.can do a mix of eating out and cooking myself (go to local market etc) . I have never done all inclusive but have done a couple of package deals but I really prefer my own thing. Although I do like the idea of being able to do yoga and aqua!

Buenas noches, en los hoteles, de las Islas, normalmente se come muy bien, sino, bajaria mucho la calidad. En la Isla de al lado "GRAN CANARIA", también hay buenos hoteles, sitios interesantes que visitar, (fuera de los hoteles)si, se quiere salir, de la "zona de confort" y sobre todo buen clima. 👏🇮🇨

Thoroughly enjoyed this ! I have been to Tenerife many years ago . Canaries are great for the winter sun. Would be really interested in a carry-on suitcase packing video. Find it a chore with the liquid restrictions etc and find myself getting stressed about the case weight / volume etc -even your mascara is classed as liquid so bit more to worry about🙄😂 but would be interesting for short break to see your packing essentials. Also Must say -so looking forward to SYLO this week👏👏👏x

Aww, that looked nice! 😍. My husband and I have been on many holidays like this one…it all feels so familiar 😂. I’ve not made it to Tenerife but have been to Fuerteventura a couple of times - the last time was Christmas 2019 in Fuerteventura. The two things that make the Canary Islands so great is the scenery is just other-worldly and the temperature is so consistent normally. Thanks for taking the time to share this with us. 💚🧡

We have just had the coldest night in Norfolk for 10 years so a glimpse of sunny tenneriffe is just what was needed. My very first flight was to tenneriffe and I loved it. I well remember the dark sand apparently it's from Mount Tiede. Thanks for taking us along.

Been to this hotel a few times and just cannot fault it. Food, Staff and Rooms are just fantastic. Unfortunately the prices at the moment for a family of 4 are just way to high so hopefully will go again soon once prices are more realistic

Wow looked fab 😍I’m very jealous, love Tenerife it’s such a beautiful place we have been 4 times now, 3 of those times in December. it’s a great destination for some winter sun without having to go too far. Not stayed in that area before but it looked lovely. We usually go on a half board package holiday(although last time we braved self catering) my son loves the beach so we end up out most days finding new beaches and the full all inclusive is not usually worth it for us. Thanks for sharing your trip with us. x

I would love to explore the volcano for sure. I usually go for guest houses ect as the crowds can do my head in. I really like the coastal area and beach. It was probably excellent value.

Grest vlog, tend to book a package holiday bed and breakfast, next trip to Puerto de la Cruz. Enjoyed La Sombrera at Gigantes last year which was great.

Looks lovely, I’ve stayed in this area of Tenerife loads of times just a bit further along the coast from where you are in Los Gigantes. I think Mount Teide is pronounced Tay-day! I found the cable car to the top terrifying 🤣. Enjoy the rest of your hols!

Just subscribed to your channel. You have a very pleasant speaking voice. I live on Fuerteventura but haven't been to Tenerife so found your vlog there interesting. The weather is a little chillier now than when you were there. The roads are closed to the high mountains in Tenerife and Gran Canaria due to snow and ice.

Looks fabulous. We are going to Lanzarote on the 30th Jan on a TUI package for 11 nights half-board. In August we have booked ourselves a week in an Apartment in Marbella Spain for a family Wedding. Also booked ourselves a week Airbnb in Vilmoura Portugal! So a bit of everything! Might like to go back to Tenerife at some stage. Enjoy it all.

What a beautiful hotel, reminds me of the Dreams hotel in Lanzarote which is my most favourite place for holidaying. We’ve not been to Tenerife for years did all the trips on our honeymoon 37yrs ago. Love this Vlog Iwan thank you, hope you had a fabbo time and enjoyed it all and feeling rested? We have been in the cable car up to Mount Tiede (think it is pronouced Teedee) fantastic place, where some of the original Star Wars films were filmed I believe. That hotel looks fab, wanted for nothing there did you? We used to book a package holiday when the children were small but once they got older we found it better for us to book our own flights, apartments (always go self catering) and love to explore as many restaraunts as possible while we are away. That all inclusive though did look good value and so easy if only going for a few days. BTW the shirt loooked good with those trews, very smart and deffo better tucked in I think. Thanks again, I now want to go to the pool for a swim and pehaps some snacks a bit later on and a nice glass of something tall and cold! Hvae a good rest of the week x
