We have been back four weeks now and miss Las Americas so much,I'm fifty and still love dance music so me and the Mrs would do a night at Veronica's again if it wasn't for kids.

Me too 50 and can still move! I work down there at bonkers in 2001 best times ever. I’ve had the last 2 years holidays to the rock cancelled 😞 hopefully next year il be back

I was there in 1984 and if I remember right the majority of bars and clubs were under ground at that time , although I do remember a bar called the Crow's Best which was on the street . There was a great sports shop too called Wimbledon Sports which sold gear that wasn't that easy to get in the UK as is today , Fila , tachini , kappa , elesse etc etc , I bought a tachini t shirt for £50 when £50 was fifty quid . Great holiday and memories , the holiday song in the club's was Dr Beat by Miami Sound Machine , every time I hear that tune it takes me right back to that holiday in 84 with my mates .

Tim was walking past here this morning. My hey day was in the days of Bobby’s Bar! Great night out. To be honest, I still have a few along that strip & over the road in Starco when i’m there & never have any hassle. Just gotta keep your wits about you & not attract the wrong attention

We had an apart in San Rafael just across the road from the Veronica's centre. We went there every year from about 1985 to 1997. I remember Linikers bar n a restaurant call Bananas Garden. Great Times.

Remember the Caledonian Bar (the Caley) being underground at Veronicas back in the day when downstairs wasn't really a scary place, also Bonkers and the Crows Nest were on the top level I think . George Mac from Ardrossan ran the Caley bar, many a good night had in there. As you say Veronicas has mostly been for the young crowd, but still recognisable today. Originally stayed at Palm Beach Club timeshare apts. on the front (I had a great boss who appreciated me) then Mare Verde apts. Christianos at Beverly hills club, Hollywood mirage and Castle Harbour.. Haven't been to the Island for a few years now, need a wee trip back sometime. Enjoying watching these videos.

depends on what type of bar Dylan, can get pints from 1 euro during day, maybe 1.50-2 euros at night and bars in las americas that are aimed at youngsters maybe 3-5 euros a beer and 5 euros plus for spirits.

Kev new to the channel what’s it like for work in the now over there the now? Do a review on the Cannabis clubs it’s socially acceptable,remember BEER was illegal at one time so was being gay till 1953 , l am tea total and more deaths are due to booze than heroin or crack it’s a drug in liquid form , no one has over died or overdosed on the weed and that is what the hardy we thing is a actual weed ,3 plants can be grown in your garden in Tenerife and lots of ppl these days use it safely , L21 was my personal favourite cannabis club the uk needs to catch up take the criminal element.
