Hi Rick, we’ve been to Tenerife so many times over the last 24 years, mainly in the Costa Adeje area. Can I ask your opinion or take over the issues we’ve seen in the media regarding the so-called ‘anti-tourist’ actions from the locals. Personally, I think it’s a bit over-hyped and honestly believe that the vast majority of the locals all appreciate the need for tourism. I do understand their frustrations with the cost of living etc but that is down to the local government and not tourists as such. I read somewhere that TUI are trying their best to address the concerns of that locals by investing in local properties. Thanks, your opinions (both you and Shelly) matter!

To be honest there was one rally march about 5 months ago and nothing more has been seen here in the south. I think it has been overhyped MASSIVELY by the British press.
