Brilliant mate remember it well like that ,brings back some good memories and bad as I was with the ex wife then .Soul Celler on Veronica's had an amazing live band every night back then .The Scottish waiter at the start still lives and works on the island we speak to him every time we're there .Your vlogs from the reef are brilliant as always.

BBC showed a wonderful documentary on this subject, 'Tenerife Eastenders', some years ago. Well worth a watch.

We went from Fever Aberdeen to Fever 2 in Tenerife in the early 90's, DJs Javi and Jimbo. Also Busby's with the excellent Eddy Cabrera and Rha Rhas was legit back then. I stopped going to the south in 2003 and holiday in the north now. But they were the best times in the early 90's the golden years.

Spot on mate. I don’t remember Eddy cabrera by name tbh bud - early 90s a bit before me but yep, the best days were then! Fever Aberdeen sounds legendary 😁

I remember when most of the roads were merely dust tracks! We used to return home with suit cases full of black sand!

Haha I have a few memories of when I was repping there in Las Americas in the 90’s and having to go help holiday makers at the police station close to the Bouganville Playa after they had been arrested. Love Tenerife.

Amazing throwback there Col!!! I remember Bobby's and Busby's, and when I went the Peseta was still taken although the Euro had been introduced. The more it changes, the more it stays the same eh?

So true mate, so true. My last ‘peseta memory’ was Es Cana in Ibiza. Full english breakfast for 500 potatoes. About £1.80 i think in them days! 😆

Yea its legendary. I got sent it a while back Mike but never got around to uploading it. An old mate was on the sound team for the production company & they put him up in the Ponderosa hotel up the road from Veronicas, with all expenses paid. Bad move 😆

Can’t beat pesetas and the sign for Banana Gardens now the Night Owl.A lot of familiar places with just the signs changed

Veronicas has changed for the worse , Bobby's was the place to go back then. Papagayo is a decent night club, but now the whole strip is full of pick pockets, shady, dodgy characters and drink spikers. If you're on your own be careful and don't bring everything but the kitchen sink out with you, the amount of people losing their phones is ridiculous. They haven't been lost, they've been nicked by over friendly characters!

Great advice - that said, the amount of times I’m filming & people leave their phones on tables to go off to toilet or the bar wtc. I see it all the time!
