Due to Community Feedback Digital Extremes has eased off their stance on Mirage's Eclipse: "Hello Tenno! On Devstream #177, we outlined our upcoming changes to Mirage’s Eclipse. In making the ability a toggle (Tap or Hold) we also changed the buffs to be an additive bonus (similar to Chroma’s Vex Armor) instead of a final multiplicative. To elaborate further with some maths, we changed it from 200% final multiplicative to 350% stack multiplicative. After reviewing Community feedback and discussing it internally, we are reverting the latter change. Eclipse will remain a 200% final multiplicative for Mirage, and the Helminth Subsume version will be multiplicative and match the exact number for Roar, which is 30%. Please note that it won't be the exact same upgrade as Roar, the differences between the abilities will remain. When they first put out the original version I remember the first time I used it, it was bearly modded and I ran around a corner saw a group of greneer pulled the trigger and puff they vanished and I just gigged with joy, no gun before that or since has made me giggle when I used it. Ied just come back from a brake and while I was gone DE had nerffed my old go to gun a grenade launcher so I was looking for a new go to and I heard that this new Arca Plasmor was meant to be quite good and well yes it most definitely was and when the tenet came out I heard it was even better so I was like yes please 😍

@@CulturedHeaven for the multiplicative scaling of Galv Aptitude on the Plasmor, Magnetic. with Purple shards, you can get Electricity, Magnetic, Viral, Slash and Impact procs all on a single target with no primers, and end up doing millions of damage in a single shot.

I slept on this gun for sooo long! A few weeks back i started actually using it regularly and it's SO FUN! Especially when you build it for all-round damage with like 4 different status effects so you don't need to change the build at all. Also; Vicious Spread on this gun is fantastic! The AOE gains from this mod is fantastic!

The tenet arca plasmor has always been one of my favorite guns, and it’s actually been one I’ve been using a lot against the murmur. The base radiation damage makes modding it for anti murmur super easy and flexible, and I recently rolled a pretty lucky riven buffing cc and damage. It’s super fun and easy to use, especially since it’s a nightmare to get incarnon off of most murmur enemies. With the arca plasmor, you don’t have to worry about any advanced mechanics and instead you just shoot down a hallway and watch everything explode. It’s easily my favorite of the lich/sister weapons, and it’s still extremely viable for late game. I highly recommend it to anyone who can access it, beginner or not.

tenet detron is nice but i personally only use it for profit taker solo runs. It has insane multishot and magazine, paired with a very low reload meaning you can oneshot the profit taker shields very fast

To offset the slow reload i run lock and load so with a good seconday mine is the cycron. So blast the hell out of a bunch of enemies and when you need to reload, swap to the cycron scorch a bunch of enemies for a couple seconds, hella status affect proc, swap back to the now reloaded plasmor. Reminds of the witherhoard from Destiny 2 with the catalyst. You could clesr entire rooms with that thing by timing the holstered reload and it was so fun flyih around GMs just witherhoarding everything swapping to a peimary swapping back again, and then using a heavy to finish off a heavy/champion enemy

14:33 well I've seen a Mag one-shot a level cap demolisher when with the right setup, so while it is not one of the best it is still a pretty strong weapon. Strong and fun, our favorite combo

I still haven’t gotten this darn gun but I’ll be honest I’ve only ever seen 1 litch and when I did the connection to my tv bugged out and by the time I got the screen back it have disappeared (been physically and mentally Ill I don’t get to play as much as ied like as most of my free time I give to my critically Ill disabled mum, I need to get a dishwasher at point too free up some time and energy 😅). Only takes a few sisters to get the plsmor, theres only 9 tenet guns so the rotation doesn’t take long. I got it on the 3rd sister Took like 30 running them to actually getting the sister with it

The sisters are guaranteed to appear on Corpus Granum tilesets(the ship that has the golden hand statue) on Neptune. You can farm them by playing solo and if they have a weapon that you don't want, DO NOT execute them. Just quit or extract and repeat the process until you get the weapon you want. I ran a capture mission because it was the fastest. And in order to spawn them, you have to wait for the screen to flicker yellow and quickly kill enough enemies within 30 seconds or so and they will appear. Similar to the infested juggernaut.

you are the only person out here who mentioned anything about the weapon's base element damage. everyone else explains it as if whatever progenitor you use will determine what base element the weapon will have. they never mention anything about it being an addition to elemental damage type.

This weapon is great for any warframe, but mag really makes it shine. I think it may actually be the most powerful weapon in the game for her specifically. If there’s a stronger weapon for her magnetize bubble I haven’t found it.

Been running Netracells with a Gauss. Four red Archon shards for power duration, one yellow for energy pickup effect. Minimum range, replace my 3 with nourish... Let's just say this thing makes me the top damaging player in every single run. I never run out of ammo and clear rooms with rapid fire blasts. 360% is my final fire rate. I can't see shit on my screen any more, but i don't even care. This is too good to pass up.

Leyzar need you opinion! This has been wracking my brain. Say I wanted to follow the old guide, for the viral mumu, but I wanted to change progen to heat. That would give me, viral, heat, and rad correct? Which would further my DPS with the galvanized setup? Finally i got my hands on a plasmor with the best quality. 60% toxin given to me by my cousin. We've made a cheaper build that slaps even harder. Total damage is 19k doing as far as 10mil dmg per hit when buffed properly and a crit procs

Viral is already coming from the companion in the build. You can also helminth on nourish for viral. Corrosive is good vs corrupted and grineer due to their armour type. I personally run corrosive cold on mine most of the time as I am using frostbite and cold has a primed 165 mod. I also just really dislike bleed builds and try to avoid leaning into bleed where possible. Building raw dmg for the arca works fine at base sp and regular "endgame" so that's good enough for me.

He specified that this exact build is geared more towards the murmur. The culverins and the necramechs are weak to corrosive damage, while all the other enemies are weak to radiation. The arca plasmor deals radiation damage by default, so adding corrosive makes it fully effective against murmur. He also modded his Diriga companion to deal viral procs for hunter munitions.

Great build video, Regarding Mirage I agree, especially in regards to exodia contagion. But not all is lost, will be dropping a reply below this with some calculations that prove eclipse isn't completely dead in the water. And for non-Status setup will still be BIS. Edit: do want to be clear that I don't care if it's half the value I'd still rather it be multiplicative for the sake of merciless arcanes.

So for the sake of simplicity, we are going to assume you are using a rifle and have 100% crit chance. Allows me to not account for crit variation, and what mods I'm using. As well as eclipse maintaining the same ratio for its helminth as it currently does. Also, no riven, but that wouldn't change much. First let's get a arbitrary damage value as a control for how much damage we get on our rifle. So lets take the base damage of the weapon (1) add just primary merciless increase and we get 4.6. Then account for crit and multishot because we are comparing it to primary frostbite. 4.6 x 3.30 (galv chamber + base) x 2.20(vital sense + base) = 33.4. We will then take current damage from eclipse 450% multi and multiply it. 5.5 (eclipse + base) x 33.4 = 183.7 damage assuming you are in *100%* light level, which only happens in the void pretty much. Now time for new calcs 350% (new additive) /250% (current multiplicative) X 150% (current helminth) = 210% base new helminth x 3 for 300 strength = 630% additive damage from eclipse on helminth. Same calcs except now since eclipse is additive it comes in where merciless did. 1 + 6.3 = 7.3 7.3 x (3.3 + .9) (frostbite and galv chamber) x (2.2 + 1.2) (vital sense + frostbite) = *104.244* damage with new eclipse. 104.244/183.7 = *56.75%* damage of the previous. *ONLY* if you have max light level, and now it's constant at that 57% value. And frostbite is very easy to upkeep with Radiation/Corrosive Cold setups, or priming with epitaph. So eclipse will still be perfectly viable, and offer diversity with other arcanes, and doesn't have that stupid conditional like current eclipse or vex armor. (This is a repaste from another comment thread of mine, and note roar will provide more damage if using a status setup.)

If a weapon can do an hour or two in SP survival, that works for me. Fun factor is a thing and you are correct, incarnon weapons are not so much to my flavor. I much prefer a consistent weapon over a weapon that is throttled by a single magazine before needing to "recharge". Thanks for the video! I happen to have gotten a riven for this weapon unfortunately that riven disposition.....hurts my soul but it is what it is!

Such a great gun on Wisp for breach surge damage multiplier and Wisp's fire rate buff. And no reason to actually aim at anything you just let it go lol. Top S+ tier! Can't actually compare it with anything else in game. Things with guns in WF is maybe they're good but only with some frames they really shine. Like Wisp- Tenet Arca Plasmor, Gauss- Gunsen Prime built for stat build and CO, Voruna- Praedos for high range speed and burst DPS, Harrow- Nikana prime and Acceltra for crit, Saryn and Cedo or Bubonici for status....

Subsume xata onto harrows three use kunai incarnon with status viral to proc xata on heads then use prisma grakata and use wild frenzy and alt fire to fire and hit headshots for the other augment I don't remember the name but it gives u ammo efficientcy on headshots and use the armour strip from unairu or whatever and use nautilus for grouping .

@@skittlesindadum1625 Well the hounds have that mod that makes them do a 30m radius explosion that has magnetic and disarm and the other one that does like 3 explosions of 15m with knockdown.... thats kinda better id say, not to mention that the hounds can literally kill hundreds of enemies per mision and even acolytes (20 mins of MOT steel path 900+ kills 2 acolytes and i didn't even shoot anyone).

@JR_22A Oh for sure, hounds are great. I just use Diriga on Mag as with Helstrum/ArcCoil it makes priming bubbles easy. Diriga also has access to shield charger which is nice on my shield gate frames like Xaku. Have both companions built and end up using both for different things.

its up to you really, you could go magnetic progen so you wont have to worry about corpus and building corrosive/viral and heat, or toxin for easy corrosive/viral, or heat and then build for corrosive/viral.

Leyzard i need some help here. guide me please. 1 riven for Convectrix with -103% CC let me end up with -0.6 CC overall. but i still can get yellow and orange crits. Not using Arcane Avenger, Kavat or any companion, buff or any mods for CC. I dont understand why it keeps happening. The riven also has Multishot, PT, and Cold. And it is perfect for me. In fact im using this build with 3 blank mods slots (no forma yet) and it can shred lv 130+ like a piece of paper.

Well the only time i was using eclipse was on loki :D Cause when you in the light use insivibility and you had that bonus as long as you was active. I was trying it with wisp for obvious reasons ^^ That was simply anoying cause i got the armor part insted 🤣 It is op but i never use it. Mostly using roar and xatas wisper. Xatas wisper is crazy on this weapon ^^

Not really death, its floor will be higher, but sadly the ceiling will be far lower, it will be better for general players in terms of reliability, but endgame players and damage chasers are going to suffer heavily for it. Still don't see why they couldn't have just left it was it was and lowered it to 150% or something if they really had to nerf it though, why not buff underperforming things instead?

I don't get why nobody talks about eclipses shadow form. Haven't heard of that getting nerfed and it can give you 95% dmg reduction on mirage or 75% as a subsume which is both pretty insane. Mirages clones can also deal tons of damage and status procs so she could still be a very high dps frame with 95% damage reduction.

Sometimes I wonder if the WF devs are just fcuking with the community because of ego. Eclipse does not need to be neutered in exchange for that QOL upgrade. I understand doing away with the lighting mechanic does not sit right with them but no need for extremes. Put in the toggle. Leave the damage application as-is. But, start it off as a weaker buff. Scale the buff numbers off the lighting. Devs get to keep the mechanic alive and players get that QOL.

You do know that it's a 700% multiplier right? And was the only ability used in level cap content. Having 7x damage for free, for pressing one button seems insane since roar only gives like 110% bonus damage. Before it was balanced in that it was inconsistent and based on lighting. You remove that and it has to be changed somehow. Even after the nerf it will be 3x damage rather than 7x

So Mirage from a mechanics standpoint I like what their doing the lighting thing is to inconsistent and dosnt always work the way it was meant to so the toggle just makes sense and I can see how a small nerf is called for, but! I’m expecting this to drop off a cliff in usability and I don’t actually use her or her skill so it’s not like I’m biased because of it been something I want to keep using I’m just looking at how the community is acting. Basically DE are saying just use Roar, so it will likely become the first or second used skill in the game, it will depend on what the numbers on nourish are as to if it will keep its top spot.
