Thanks for posting. Interesting answer on digital. When this was made, I had given up my camera because of the push of digital with it's horrible pixelation and the lack access to a dark room and film in general. But now that digital has turned a corner in a good way, I wonder what he would say. IMHO, you can give a camera to any monkey but it doesn't mean the aesthetic will be there.

I think digital made it easier to shoot crappy pictures, but why should it be easier to shoot a great pic? is a great pic shot digitally less great?

Digital is too easy and therefore kills creativity. It's good to have a camera that doesn't hold you back but also doesn't give you everything on a silver platter. The photographer might get lazy and apply the same trick over and over again. The real challenge is gone. It's like going on vacation and seeing the tourist spots on a tour vs going on a journey and living the life the people live in that country for the time you are there.
