The reason this exhibit's so short is that Tengu Shredder had 1 season and he was only in 4-5 episodes of it.

The reason the trial was so short, is because Tengu Shredder was part of the 2003 "TMNT: Lost Episodes" arc, which lasted only for one season, and like 3/4 of the season revolved around the Tengu Shredder's goons stealing the artefacts, so he was really only revived for like 6 episodes. I think the darkest episodes of TMNT were "same as it never was" where we see an alternate timeline of Shredder taking over the world, and the Cthulhu one. Also, yeah, Batman has had like two crossover comics with the TMNT and one crossover movie - which are all great. Also, TMNT is allegedly having a crossover comic with Naruto next year

The battle was so brutal the Tribunal had to pull a Majin Vegeta and blow themselves up just to stop the Mystics, only for it to fail. And that was after the Mystics kicked the crap out of the Tribunal and hung them like trophies. Speaking of how the Tengu Shredder knew about the mayor, his Mystic Acolytes knew, because they were once the spiritual men of the Foot Clan, representing a more mystical aspect of Ninjutsu, and using psychic emanations and elemental magic to attack the TMNT and Splinter. The latter even had to use the Utrom Shredder's Sword of Tengu to defeat them. The Utrom Shredder valued their services and always respected them, but his successor Karai disrespected the Mystics, seeing them as nothing more but minions, and they began to long for a time when they dominated the world during the Tengu Shredder's leadership. So the Mystics tricked Agent Bishop and the TMNT into stealing an amulet from Karai, called the Heart of Tengu, the very same magic amulet that she used to control the Mystics. They tricked Bishop into destroying it with a laser, by lying to him and saying that it had all sorts of intricate alien tech blueprints that can be analyzed by laser. Then once the amulet was destroyed, the Mystics began to work towards the goal of reviving the Tengu Shredder, and while the Ninja Tribunal and their acolytes handed the Mystics and their minions the occasional defeat, the Mystics eventually rallied and defeated the Tribunal, seizing the Tengu Shredder's casket and his artifacts, so they could revive their master.

After TMNT: Fast Forward (the arc where they get sent 100 years in the future) the turtles return to the present dau, to be greeted by the sight of 3 Shredders - Utrom Shredder, Demon Shredder, and a new Shredder who i won't spoil in case CJ decides to make a 4th trial. To get back on point, the only reason the turtles survive the fight is because the only thing they hate just as much as the turtles is Stockman - ok i'm half kidding, they hate the turtles more but Stockman also finally used his remaining braincell to keep his ass out of sight, so the 3 Shredders started beefing over who was the REAL Shredder, which allowed the turtles to make a getaway. Also, i HIGHLY recommend watching the episode "Insane in the membrane" because it is a prime case of the writers testing the absolute limit of 4Kids patience at poor Stockman's expense

Friendly reminder that the Tengu Shredder was around for only one season for a total of 12 episodes. The details are unknown, but this is likely because , at this point, the show had started to suffer from production issues from behind the scenes as the producers and execs felt the show was getting *too dark & conveluted* and demanded a soft rebranding in the form of *Fast Forward* and then changed their minds when that simply wasn't as popular, resulting in the show kind of getting cancelled due to the mixed ratings & viewership (go figure, the suits created an imaginary problem, tried to "fix it" and the show suffered for it) and all before the writers could do their planned Shredder War arc where we would have had *Utrom Shredder, the new Cyber Shredder and Tengu Shredder* all popping off and warring with each other to see who gets to rule as the one TRUE Shredder. We did end up getting a satisfying finale with Utrom trying to destroy the multiverse, but it felt like we skipped *entire seasons* worth of content because of executive meddling. Resulting in the Tengu and Cyber Shredder in particular, being deined the screentime they SHOULD have had. Still, the fact that Tengu did so much damage while being active for such a short amount of time really sells how big of a threat he is.

fun fact... they did... CJ doesnt exactly cover it , but they essentially split his power amongst 3 pieces, The Kara Kabuto ( the scary helmet) , The Gauntlet of the Shredder, and the main body. Without his Helmet and Gauntlet, the symbols of the shredders power, he was essentially weakened and couldn't resurrect or break the seal. They then hid all three pieces in extremely dangerous places so that his acolytes ( 5 of them each of them the spirit of an elemental power). they sent the turtles and gang to retireve the pieces for protection by the tribunal but ultimately failed and got jacked by the Elementals. They did try Skitten, they did try
