Maybe the royals wouldn’t have cared. Plus, as the movie depicted, ugliness itself is a crime. They would have used that against her regardless. I agree she was protecting herself but trying to cover up the crime and frame her sister is criminal enough. But yeah, I feel sorry for her too.

I agree The film was good but there were many plot holes and tropes that were pretty fragiles, such as Cinderella supposed to be a « hidden villain » which wasn’t so credible (or the reasoning behind Red Riding Hood’s deductions : for example, why would it be so hard to believe that Cinderella’s stepsis threw her shoes right after asking her to pluck strawberries amongst thorns ? Knowing her stepsister’s mean nature, it totally made sense that she would be so unreasonable so I don’t see how Red Riding Hood came to the conclusion that Cinderella lied about that)

The English dubbing for Kanna Hashimoto's Red Riding Hood sounds sexy as hell, it just as raspy as Lara Croft and it did kinda matched her character.
