Enjoyed the video very much. After you mentioned West Virginia, I looked up Tomlinson Run. I was born in Marietta, Ohio-- right down Route 7!

Squish the barbs on your flies so it’s easier to unhook the fish. Most of the time the length of the rod will keep you hooked up. I use barbless with just a 7’ 7wt and a 9’6” 5wt fly rods and have little trouble keeping a fish on, if you get a good hookup it will stay on.
