Tennant 5680 no start electrical diagnostic. No start after batteries replaced.

This is a video of troubleshooting and repairng an electrical system of the Tennant 5680 floor scrubber. I determined the fault to be the previous person working on it, who hooked up the wires improperly. I did this video that not all repairs need new parts. I spent two years working on these machines for about fifteen hours a day. They can be wiring nightmares. So many circuits are shared that you spend all day. Diagnosing one thing only to find out if something else. I always hated changing the pad motors.

So the batteries on the machine Say at full on the walk behind but when you go to scrub it goes a foot and then starts blinking and I won’t go anymore when you scrub But they’ll let you drive around with just the pads up as long As you want

Did you get it figured out? Is there possibly something tangled in the scrub pads? Or try disconnecting each scrub motor connector 1 by 1 while it's off then trying it. Could be a shorted motor. Let me know what you find.

Hi , scrub pads are not turning , motor goes up n down vaccum work fine, i changed the bettries but still same , any suggestions please?

Did you get it figured out? Some units have circuit breakers for the scrub brushes that pop if to much load is put on brushes like when stuff gets tangled in them. Let me know what you find.

hi ,i have a question about battery not charging , i have 15v at main leads and only 5 v at second and third batteries ... charging display shows oo.oA what should i check?

How many volts is the charger? 36? I would check all your battery cables. Clean? Tight? Hooked up correctly?

yes all connection are good and cables are tight .. not sure about the charger it is biult into machine @@shanersmechaniclife3164

@@shanersmechaniclife3164 not sure about onboard charger size but i did removed all cables from batteries and charges each one individually rehooked all cables when i went to move the machine i had 24 v at batteries but as soon as i lowered the brushes it kill the batteries to 19v.....when i hhok up to wall with machine charger i show 00.0a could one or more batteries be bad ?

Hello hello hey I have T3 Tennant my problem is the speed when I’m start working with the machine everything works normal except the speed goes normal and then goes down almost to stop up and down every 10 seconds maybe What can I do Please help

Hard to say without seeing it. I'd start by making sure all your batteries are good, connections clean and tight. Perhaps a problem in the hand control? Maybe instead of opening full throttle try backing off to maybe 3/4? I've seen other equipment cut out if it goes past 100% throttle. Could be just an adjustment. Hope this helps Keep me posted what you find.
