Played this again today. The voice / artists I was thinking of is Alan Price. It's him. Check out the Smartie ads he did in the late 60s and also some of his singles.

Can't trace this commercial. A lot from this period are elusive. I know the voice but can't place it at the mo. One to work on?

Sounded like David Essex at first but it's not him, Must be a session artist.

Yes, not Essex but someone I've heard before. I think I am thinking of Alan Price who did some other ads.
