I'm pretty sure most went to high ground except for rabbits. But the deer and fox and wolves aren't going to hang out and drown when they can run. Plus they can swim better than humans. But any wildlife deaths are bad.

That white building at the 21 seconds is the Erwin Hospital, that 50 staff and patients had to be rescued by helicopter from the roof! Someone said the Nolichucky River went through Erwin with more force than Niagara Falls, gallons per second!
