Dropping off more supplies to rural TN (4 trips in total). They've been through a lot but these tough old Hillbillies keep on going.
Big thanks to my current supporters that helped with this.
All donations/subscriptions this week will be used to help the community of Denton, TN who were devastated by floods from the recent hurricane. Locals: betterbachelor...
I will also be donating my own income towards this effort, but more is always better!
30 Day Discount Codes: ODDMANOUT2 for $3 a month, or ODDMANOUT30 for $36 per year.
The town population of Denton is only about 1000 people and in many cases the people there are well below poverty levels, and they've lost homes, animals, and in some cases loved ones
Donation sites (from posts on 'X') for East TN:
Donations: Crossroads Community Church, 424 Heritage Blvd, Newport, TN 37821
They are requesting no clothing donations at this time
Sevier County - Sept 30th through Oct 4th, Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 1950 Parkway, Pigeon Forge, TN 37863 (formerly the Pigeon Forge Welcome Center building) Those affected by the floods will need a lot of support in the coming days. Specific items we've been told are needed include but are not limited to:
Water
Clean Towels and Blankets Socks (New)
Underwear (New)
Hygiene Items / Travel size toiletries
Feminine hygiene products
Diapers
Wipes
Baby Food
Baby Formula
Cleaning supplies
Toilet paper
Paper towels
Laundry detergent
First Aid Kits
Ready food items (snack crackers, protein bars, fruit snacks, etc) Gift cards (for groceries, gas, etc)
Pet Food
Kitty Litter
At this time, we would like to request that no used clothing items be donated for hygiene and logistical reasons. If you have used clothing items you would like to donate, please reach out to other local organizations as I’m sure there will be a need for these.

I've run 4 car loads to various towns. I took video of the areas affected. It's rough up there but let me tell you these people are TOUGH. I'm just the shopper and delivery guy, it's you all donating that's making the difference so THANK YOU! Receipts and goods posted on betterbachelor.locals.com. 100% of ANY funds I receive this week are going to them, no need to earmark them as donations.

My family were stationed at Homestead AFB, FL when Hurricane Andrew passed through. At the point where we lost everything we owned that didn't fit in our car when we evacuated, we needed a handout for a short period of time and appreciated it. By the same token, we donate to help others in need as we can through our church and other churches where we are confident the items we send make it to the people in need.

We are just country folks trying to survive and not waiting fpr the governemnt to figure out how much they can make off of the disaster. Greetings from Greeneville County. We are on a little higher ground about 2 miles from where the Kisner Bridge use to be. We are just without running water currently. We have gotten some water and are safe. Keep doing what you do for the ones who really need it. We ourselves are just dealing with a small inconvience unlike others. The ones hit the hardest are the ones we need to focus on for now. We will make it TN! Stay strong and safe!
