The Tennessee Titans made a big splash on Day 1 of Free Agency with three signings. First, we saw the Titans bring in Tony Pollard in what was a surprising move to start the day. Next the Titans added to the offensive line with Lloyd Cushenberry in the best move of the day. Finally, the Titans added secondary help with Chidobe Awuzie and could be looking to add even more.

Love the Cushenberry signing. Bye bye Brewer, at least as a starter. Don't hate the Pollard signing, but don't love it either. Would have preferred a thunder to Spear's lightining, not 2 lightnings as I see Pollard and Spears as pretty much the same style. As for Awuzie, having suffered a complete ACL tear myself, it does take more than 1 year to be fully healed structurally, and more importantly, fully healed mentally. As long as the recovery is complete, and he returns to his 2 year ago form, he could be a steal for the secondary.

I read that $20 mil of the guaranteed money (Cush) is accounted for this upcoming season. If true, I love that he's not going anywhere and will be cheaper against the cap moving forward. Frontloading contracts on stud players, I feel, is a wise move when you have cap space and the cap seems to have no downward trajectory.

Tyler, you should check out some of Jerry Glandville's 89 Oilers offense pre Run & Shoot here on YT. Been watching a lot of these videos. They had a 2 back set with 2 receivers and TE. I have a feeling our offense may look similar to that but without the TE. They also ran this direct shotgun snap to the RB what was crazy effective. Moon was just a beast back then before I became a fan.

The moves fit what the team wants to do. This is a true rebuild, bad thing is with this much change so quickly between coaches and players, it's going to be one of those seasons like with Lafure in green bay, they are just going to be practicing this season and then next off-season a coordinator will move on, the titans future success rate for a Superbowl at this point is less than 50%, maybe much less. Really it's in Will's hands, i wish them the best, i have watched the Titans sense they started and nothing they have ever tried have worked, so i don't know if their plan will work, but they trying.

Keep in mind, Cowboys had a very favorable schedule when it came from week 9ish on. So all Cowboys players kind of had a bump in production, cause Dak and the offense where going off.
