This would be an A+ draft for me. Getting Alt and Pearsall at the top, then hitting on a lot of our defensive needs, is amazing and exactly what I hope we do this year. I'd like to see us sign Calais Campbell and Levi Wallace to round out the defense. Those moves with this draft could really help rpund out this defense

That trade down would work for me since I was considering Pearsall at 38. As long as we get Alt, the draft will at least be decent for me.

Seems solid to me. I think my dream though is to trade down, grab extra draft capitol, and get....Mims. I'll take the highest ceiling OT with our OL coach and extra draft capitol IF I can get it.
@LockedOnTitans6 ай бұрын
Ceiling doesn’t matter if you are always hurt though. Dude played 8 games and left some early.
@piptyson55126 ай бұрын
@@LockedOnTitans Always hurt? Small sample size and only 1 injury I do believe (and apparently not a long-term worry). He sat behind very good OT's. Maybe he should have stayed another year, but all the context matters. In those 8 games, he easily looked like one of the best OT's in the country already. He's not a big project at all, he's surprisingly already close to that massive ceiling. Tape doesn't lie.

Love the content man but not trading down 20 spots for 2 back up maybe starters some day. Im taking a starter/baller at 38. Im cool without a 3rd this yr. Cant make up for everything in one draft. Next yr my brother.

I have been saying it almost as much as you about Wallace from Kentucky. He reminds me a lot of Woodyard. My question is do you think he has the mental ability to wear the green dot. I really hope we are able to draft him. Wanted Woodyard out of college but didn't get him till later in his career don't want this to happen with this guy.

I don’t see Alt lasting until 7. Especially since LT depth specifically isn’t that good this draft. I think more than likely, It’s Odunze or trade back. I honestly could see MHJ falling.
@LockedOnTitans6 ай бұрын
Well they’d be moving him to RT anyways so I don’t think LT depth matters.
@JR-tg1vg6 ай бұрын
@@LockedOnTitansYou think they are moving him? Who’s going to LT, Leroy? That’s interesting. At that point, maybe they like JC Latham better….🤔. If MHJ or Nabers are sitting there, they better run to the podium.

Imo if the Titans get Alt at 7 they should trade down from 38 to somewhere in the 50 to 65 range and grab a 3rd round pick in the 70 to 80 range .. draft a WR with the 2nd pick ... imo WR at 38 vs WR at 50 to 65 isnt gonna be a big difference...

Here's one no one has discussed. What if the Callahans think Skoronski can play left tackle? I guarantee Carthon didn't draft him in the top 10 to play guard. Vrabel never really gave him a chance. If so, it would open up a lot more options for them at #7.
@tcho866 ай бұрын
Alt obviously great pick. You already know how I feel about RickyBobby. Reiman another draft crush. All great picks for sure. Main thing I would say is: re: Booker - I like him as a player as well, but I disagree with how you kept referring to him as a great and explosive athlete. He ran a 4.79 40 and 1.67 10yd at 240lbs, jumped 32.5”, had a 7.05 RAS score. He’s not an explosive athlete. And Kinchens did have great production, but another guy where at 203 lbs running a 4.65 and a 9’2 broad, and a 2.11 RAS (!!)…sure we put priority on the tape, but then there’s historically bad athleticism profile that probably just is too much of a hurdle to translate to the next level. Especially where you would’ve drafted him. Just my thoughts.
@LockedOnTitans6 ай бұрын
I get the concern but at the end of the day the tape will always take precedent for me. RAS is nice but it isn’t everything.
@tcho866 ай бұрын
@@LockedOnTitans I agree RAS isn’t everything. But imo, there’s at least some aspect of objectivity when it comes to using a label such as “explosive athlete”, and when you do have some clear metrics to quantify that label and a prospect falls notably short, I think there is some validity to saying that they’re not explosive athletes in the realm of the NFL caliber player. And…2.11 for Kinchens is a next level historically bad number, that’s beyond just “RAS isn’t everything” lol. One thing I’ll say about you - I appreciate your ability/willingness to always take pushback or disagreements in stride, as opposed to some other titans content producer guys I’ve interacted with that get defensive when pushed back with.

@@tcho86 watch Booker get off the LOS man. Darius Robinson had bad testing numbers but has great burst.
@tcho866 ай бұрын
@@LockedOnTitans I’ll watch Booker again. For the record as mentioned I am a fan of his early Day 3. His numbers don’t classify him as a twitchy explosive raw athlete is all I’m saying, when you compare him to all the other 240lb edges and LBs out there. D Rob is my boy - I’m a mizzou alum so trust me big fan, would love him at 38. But I have always thought he’s more power than twitch, personally, watching all his games. Maybe you can define power as explosive in this context.

I'm hoping for Nabers or Odunze and either one of the solid Tackles in the 2nd round. I don't see Alt as this super all-pro player. In 2021 he would be OT3 behind Sewell and Slater. Both Nabers and Odunze would be over Waddle and challenge Chase for WR1. I still give your draft an A....I just want our future #1 stud at WR.
