Hi , I enjoy your vids , my friends and I were at ride royal blue last summer and are goin back this summer just trying to get a 6 day slot in one place to stay . Are you guys just strictly sxs? Most of us have quads , 850 scrambler , 570 sportsman , sport quads and a x3 turbo . Plan on getting more trail time this year as last year we had 2 full days and didn’t see hardly anything. Great vids

You’ll never believe this, but I traversed the same sections you did in this video in my Wolverine R-Spec. Only reasons I made it were Maxxis Carnivores, patience, and Chris Hyde from Lifetime Trailmaps was an amazing spotter for me. The view at the top on Carryville Mountain and the decent on Widow Maker was amazing. Did you get to check out “Hell’s Rock Garden” at the top? Holy crap. Wicked is the right word for sure!

Right on man, Chris Hyde is a great dude. It was awesome meeting him and riding with him. Can't wait to go back. The view is stunning. Haven't checked out hells rock garden yet, it's on the hit list. It's impressive you conquered that trail in the Wolverine!! You'll have to join us when we get back out that way.

Your videos are great, really. I watch a lot. Been riding for 25 years. Been down to HMT every years since 07. I cut my teeth on a Trailblazer 250, then a 400. Bought an 05 Scrambler 500 and I ride in MI, WI, WV, KY. That quad is awesome, never let's me down. Even when it breaks, it gets me back to the trailer or cabin. On Oct, 26th of 2020, we were down in WV at Twin Hollow. Blew my rear end and had enough of thinking about it for 10 years, so I went to Keefers in Logan, WV and bought a 2021 RZR XP 1000. It came with just about every accessory I could want. Most expensive ATV vaca ever. Your videos are part of the reason why I did it, but I will say, having rode green, blue, black and black red diamond at HMT on my quad, and how much a brand new RZR costs, I would not do this or the other TN video you have, Widow Maker. All I can say is why? It is awesome, don't get me wrong, but why beat your machines to death, do 30 miles in 6 hours and have scratches all over them, destroy your skid plates and all that? Up North (MI) we do 150 miles in a day at 40 MPH average. Just doesn't seem like that much fun down there.
@AdrenalineJunkieProd
@AdrenalineJunkieProd 3 жыл бұрын
Hey Mack, really happy to hear you are enjoying your RZR 1000! Great choice and I'm glad my videos helped you make up your mind on which machine was right for you. You probably know that I don't care much about scratches. They come with the territory. As for skid plates and other components. Neither my skid plate or any of my other suspension components suffered anything besides cosmetic damage on the Widow Maker. Yes, it is hard as hell on the machines and yes at times its a little stressful but we love that type of riding and we don't have those type's of trails back at home which is why we are drawn to them. Like I always say, to each their own. I have a bunch of friends that love finding the deepest mud hole around and burying their machines in it. To me that is no appealing. I love technical trails like you see in some of the videos and I know others would not be caught dead on some of them. That's the beauty of this sport, there is so much variety and so many different ways to build a machine suited to your needs. I don't think that if someone doesn't want to do an obstacle or they choose to go around it they are worse riders or pussies. We all go out to have fun and we should do what we have fun doing or what we are comfortable doing. Life would be boring if we all loved the exact same stuff!

@@AdrenalineJunkieProd you are correct. Life would be boring if we all liked the same thing. Thanks for the reply. Keep up the good work on the videos. Hey Jeff. No, not very often. Usually if I'm going over 15mph and know I will be I'm in High. Usually I'm on Low on the slower technical sections. If you ever see me randomly stop or almost stop its usually because I'm changing gears.

Str8razor420 I’m pretty sure there is more than one place referred to as the dragons tail. The local guys call the technical section here the dragons tail too. Whether or not it’s official I don’t know but it’s not to take away from or compare to the one you are referring to. Kinda like there is a ton of things referred to as the widow maker which is the next trail we will be riding

Not correcting or being a jerk by no means u.s 129 people come from all over to ride it I grew up near by it very popular it's in the top 10 for most dangerous road..I'm sure u.s 129 is more heard of and my thoughts are having the same name doesn't do the trail any good for being known or unique the dragons back I think would be better

@@AdrenalineJunkieProd You're calling it "The Dragon's Back" for a reason......because that's what it is !!!! It's a common thing to mislabel it as "The Dragon's Tail". Both the Dragon's Tail and the Dragon's Back are unique in what they offer to the people riding them.
