UNC is usually talking all the time about how great they are and how much better they are than us, and so we have to speak up for ourselves there. Perhaps if we won anything of note on the gridiron we would be insufferable, but we've seen too many promising seasons ruined.

Academically, the SEC also has Texas (with a top 20 law school, top 10 MBA program, top 15 Med school), Florida (a top 30 national university), and UGA (with a top 20 law school, top 25 business school, top 10 journalism school, etc.). All of those schools also have roughly the same SAT / ACT averages as schools like UNC and UVA. Just stating that for the record. And the aforementioned schools are all far more competitive than NC State, with its 70% acceptance rate...
