Hrmm, I've been using a D chord instead of the hammer-on A, but I have to admit, I like the hammer-on A better. I love just how simple this song is to play & everyone will know what you are getting at right away. Gonna have to play around again with it & switch out the D for the A. Thanks!

Do you know of an alternative way to handle the hammer on? My fingers are just to small to stretch over the fret board without muting strings. I’ve tried different angles i just have small hands

Maybe you could slide your fingers up instead of hammer? I really don't know any other way to do it if you can't reach.

Don't play it as a bar and just use your 1st finger on the 1st and 2nd strings. Just play strings 1 - 4
