I don't know how many people are saying it, but...IMO, UT overspent on Lanier in NIL. He's one of the highest paid college bb players, and he's the 61st ranked player according to CBS. This is why UT only has a handful of scholarship players; there's no more money. UT panicked on Lanier and gave him top 5 money, he's not a top 50 player, and UT has no depth because of it. NIL is ruining sports.
