@@darrenproffitt2765 Right I agree 💯 and I don't think NCAA has a leg to stand on in this case 💯 because This Nico situation ain't anything to do with Tennessee Athletics it's between Spyre Sports Group & Nico Iamaleava and they have a contract that is 💯 legit & by the books and everyone can guarantee that because all those that work for Spyre Sports Group are all very smart people and you can bet everything in Nico's and every other Athletes contract is legit & by the books 💯 so I don't think it will affect Tennessee's recruiting in any sport will only help them because like you said all these future recruits is gonna see how Tennessee Athletics Administration & State Reps back their student athletes💯. NCAA leaked the story to Pat Fordeh who has a well known emotional involvement with Gregg Shiano. Foedeh delights in holding his material in order to enjoy a certain sensation normally associated with a five year old. It amazes me that the media talking heads are amplifying this story like it’s about the University of Tennessee and other NCAA member institutions. This story is about the last gasp of NCAA relevancy. NIL laws ended NCAA regulations concerning recruiting and squarely placed college athletics in the FTC purview. It’s about interstate commerce, athletes rights under the law and the NCAA’s right to horde the profits of the basketball tournament.

Vs South Carolina Tennessee didn't play within their offense. From the jump they were looking to feed DK, even to the point where several open shots were passed up in favor of getting the ball in DK's hands. I know that's happened in previous games at times, when DK got super hot, but we haven't seen a game where that looked to be the entire offense from the opening jump. We need another offensive compliment to DK when Aidoo is struggling or in foul trouble. Santi, ZZ or JJJ need to recognize the situation and become more aggressive offensively. One of them needs to be that 2nd scorer on the night... I really think JJJ has the skills to be that guy & we've seen it from him in the past, he just needs to know when to turn it on. When Aidoo & DK are both hot offensively I'm okay with JJJ being that lock down defender & distributing the ball on offense but he has to step up when either of those 2 has a bad night. Just all around the team needs to have a better feel of what's going on and play better complimentary basketball. Shelling up on offense and having that entire side of the ball being feed DK the rock isn't going to work all the time.

According to the contract Nico had with Spyre, he could have signed anywhere so what is the NCAA’s problem?? Makes no sense to me!

And comments were made that after the game dalton stayed on the court to shoot foul shots and the other players went to the locker room. Why didnt barns make the stay on the court. I mean when you are recruiting these player you should know by watching them against good competition if they are consistent or not and if you cant you cant recruit. So as of now the only players on the team consistent is dalton.

The game plan was obviously to help at the rim on dribble drives from Johnson and cooper and it leaves the corners open. The idea was to take away the high percentage shot at the rim and force low percentage shots from the corners and give SC credit they knocked down those shots. Pick your poison. We could’ve adjusted and let them take our guys 1v1 off the bounce but I think Rick wanted SC to take those shots and we got burned. The reason we lost though is cause Dalton had zero help offensively.

U need to have another player like dalton knecht. Hes the only player thats consistent. Bernard and ernie were always consistent. They carried the team back then. Anybody can play defense if they want to. But having two consistent scorers would be great. Look where we would be without dalton. Josiah jordan james, maybe nice guy been her long time but never consistent. I dont think barnes knows how to recruit players that are consistent.
