Good to see solid doubles where smart choices and quality shots > W. Social Dubs with random partners: 1) Slow Sally doesn't cross and cover after u poach. 2) Killer Kev misfires with heat-seeking missile from baseline. 3) Smashin' Sammy crushes OH into back fence.

May not be possible for all players but ideally when one elects to poach one should move diagonally towards center net strap. By being close to net one eliminates low volleys and in a better position to hit put away volleys. Of course one needs to have the speed to get to this position. The pro doubles players are doing this frequently but it requires quickness and fast reflexes that not everyone has.

'Ideally' ... isn't always a reality for most players but I do totally agree with you. IF you can move diagonally towards the net, right, then you're in a much better position to handle whatever comes back.

Got to close the point on 7th shot, but the guy don't do it with a really bad volé

What I said ti @ScotWhitney ... The 7th shot is an inside the shoulder high volley that completely crowds him and compromises any decent forehand volley technique. So no, that's not a put away opportunity for him.

You got lucky a that point because your opponent had a nice look at a put-away volley and didn’t take advantage of it.
