Water Rugby! My family and I used to play this in the pool every summer. We kinda reinvented it in a way :p We used a volleyball and have mini basket hoops on both sides of the pool, and make a shot to score.

I like the idea I rly do and I know having fun is important but there rly wasnt any competition in that. It was 2 v 2 hitting balls... Hopefully the next game is one where people know how to play and there's some competition. I don't expect it to be hardcore but some friendly competition would be fun to watch
