Tennis Team Reacts to Roger Federer Commencement Announcement

Dartmouth's varsity tennis team was excited to hear that Swiss tennis legend and philanthropist Roger Federer-one of the greatest male athletes the sport has ever known-will address the Class of 2024 and receive an honorary doctor of humane letters degree at Dartmouth's Commencement on Sunday, June 9.

We have tennis style goats- Bahrami and Santoro, and we have grand slam tennis G.O.A.T Novak Djokovic. And that is it. All the other players are out of any tennis "goat conversation".

@@loria7043 You are simply delusional... Roger is a great player offcourse. One of the best. But there can be only one Goat. You are talking about Novak's "numbers". .. He didn't get "numbers" as some kind of prasent or inheritance. He made them by effort, hard work, champion mentality and so on. The same as Roger. Would Roger be in Goat debate if he would have 1-3 GS titles? No. So you have duble standards. In Novak's case, all the Goat records are just numbers. In Rogers case numbers are greatness. You are simply dellusional or tennis dum or malicious or all of three. Novak cemented his Goat status probably forever. And now its you Rogers and Rafas fans who are desperately beliving and speaking one of these is your Goat, and its all based on your feelings. You simply have duble standards and you are dellusional. I KNOW IT IS VERY HARD FOR YOU ALL TO TAKE AND ACCEPT NOVAK'S HUGE NUMBERS AND HIS HUGE 24+CM GRAND SLAM TITLES, BUT IF YOU RELAX AND ACCEPT THE FACT AND THE TRUTH AND THE PRASENT STATE, HIS 24+CM GS TITLES WILL PENETRATE MUCH MORE EASIER AND IT WILL HURT YOU MUCH LESS.

You can like him but he is not a tennis Goat. Novak is. You would never consider Roger as Goat if he would have 2 GS titles instead of 20. So we count here these efforts, results and "numbers" as a result of effort and success. "Numbers" have story behind. That's why Novak is the Goat of tennis and grand slam tennis. He poses all the "numbers". Everything else is your wfull thinking. Accept the truth and relax in your favourite pose and these Novak's 24+cm gs's will hurt you less.
