Yeah, I noticed in the previous 1st round tourney you had the same issue -- some players go to a psychologist, but I suppose a good trip to the mountains or a harsh reality check could help too -- keep your mind on being happy to have what you already have, and even the chance itself to be in the position for a qualification in those tournaments versus experienced players. Keep it up man!

Great fight Felix! Was rooting for you to come back in the 2nd! You are much better than me, but one thing that has helped me mentally reset is just saying out loud. "Next point", it helps me focus on the present and forget the past. Also, I'm sure your coach has told you, but standing further back on returns, so you can gain a couple of seconds. Sorry, I don't want to be a keyboard warrior. Just some things I've learned that could help others in the intermediate level. So fun to watch these matches and keep it up. I've been subbed since the very start of your journey. Watching you grow and fight for every point is so rewarding :)

That volley in the net at 4:5 40/30... Understandably difficult to get over. Still, a good first set. Now you know how much upside there is on your serve. Also, some of the backhand slice defense was undecided and floated 3~6 foot above the net; you should practice that situation to be able to make either real good defensive lobs or a *low* floater that drops behind the net, preferably in the center because your goal is to have recovery time and pass next shot, not that shot.

Your opponent is playing Tennis Bundesliga (Tennis Premiere League) for "Rochusclub Düsseldorf". That is pretty damn solid. You should try and get paid to do that too. I saw Nadal when he was 16 playing for "BW Neuss" in the league. He deleted everyone and was gone after one season to play on tour. Botic van de Zandschulp was playing for "Neuss" last season. Don't know if he will do that this season again. You are not quiet that level yet but thats a great way to play against good people and infront of a bigger crowd. Pretty sure teams would like to have a guy with a big following in their lineup.

Watched many of your matches and then watched many courtside view atp level matches. The main differences are the serve 1st and especially the 2nd - depth speed placement. Return much more purpose. Ground strokes they are masters at hitting angled shots to open up the court and move the opponent. Angles depth speed attacking every short ball really aggressively and absolutely not missing easy shots not to make rallies unnecessary long losing energy positivity the hold of the game plan and maybe the point. Here sometimes it is just giving everything to get the ball back just to survive. This futures matches are really an extreme battle so much grinding. I know everybody is giving his opinion and think that knows better but really these are the main differences in the game. Otherwise futures players are pretty quick and technical endurance levels are good fighting spirit is there only the grinding is too much because there is a lot of hitting in the middle or just shots that the opponent easily gets to. Work smarter not harder cliche but true. Tough love maybe but that's what i think and see. Keep trying.
