We need not be tennis fans to appreciate the amazing skill set and good sportsmanship which she possesses. Such a relief in a sports world so full of entitlement, and so limited in true role models, to have someone like Iga representing youth and what is good in the world. I am certain her psychologist plays a large role in keeping her down-to-Earth and focused on her own mental health & fitness. But please let's give credit to her parents for raising the kind, level-headed young woman Iga has become. Truly a bright star at a troubled time in our world. Thank you.

This woman became a world number one, after Ashleigh Barty, willingly retired. How ridiculous it must be that you couldn't become world number by yourself, but the retirement of an another player made you world number one.

Ash Barty is one of my all time favourites. But I also like Iga, and have been supporting her since she was being beaten left, right, and center. I think she has proven that she is indeed world #1 on her own account. Even Barty said she was deserving of her new ranking as #1. Credit where credit is due!
