I use a v8 and v9 blade but a month ago I found an old Prince Exo3 that my wife forgot she had, slapped a little lead tape on there and I haven’t been able to put the thing down. I love it. The holes in the frame just work well for my 1 handed backhand. I love tennis 😂❤

I am in the same boat. I have a prince tour O3 since 2019. I would like to buy some new racquets with the same technology but Prince did not realease an O3 version of the phantom racquet. The holes make the racquet fly so nicely...

My first Blade 100 v9 came in significantly over-spec. Had to pay TW to check my second to make sure I got one on spec.

I am demoing the 25 PD from TW and it’s a nice feel to it, but I need more swing weight. Experimenting with some lead on it. Looking fwd to the new tfight. I like the existing one and is always in my bag. New ezone 98 is intriguing with the minilon. I liked the blades 98 but decided to sell them recently- need a little more power and already have tension at 44#. And I want a crisper feel - it’s just a little too muted for me. Just ordered a 24 head speed mp legend from TW. Can’t wait to hit with it! And also want to check out the Dunlop SX. The current one was actually a fun racket, want a little more control but another one that I like to pick up for doubles. Happy New Year Jonas!

Based on what has been released in recent years by Head, can we imagine that in 2025 a new version of the Prestige will be released, and in 2026 at the beginning of the year, a new version of the Speed?
@KainanBlackMoon3 күн бұрын
Yes to the Prestiges. And apparently they move on from Auxetic with those. So something new, not Auxetic 3.0. And if they keep all silos on their 2 years turn, then yes, 26 should get us a new Speed. It will be interesting to see if they also introduce a 98 sq.in. for the Speed line after giving the Gravity line one with the new Tour 98.

For me, definitely looking forward to the new TFights! Never played with the Whiteout so far, not even sure we have it in my country but I am going to find that out asap ^^ I like the new paintjob on the V2 version of the WO. Already played with the new Pure Drive 98 a while ago, and i quite like the new paintjob. It will be an interesting year vis-a-vis Tennisrackets! Thanks for all your work, Jonas! Always like to watch your content.

Don’t sell your current PD’s for at least a year. I just demoed the 2025, they made it soft, which is ok, but it’s not the old one.
@samburrell32883 күн бұрын
@@HoboHabilis is it more controlled? Pure drives have been awful for a decade, last good one was 2012 and 2009 was very good too. Now they are way too numb and muted. I was using the PD VS for 2 years and got on well with them though

First of all, I wish you a happy new year. thank you for your videos. Can you tell me whether the new Pure Drive 98 with 16/20 has become softer in terms of frame? I hope… the old one wasn't a little too hard. best regards, Markus
@Tennisnerd14 сағат бұрын
Happy New Year, Markus. Yes, the new one is softer. It is not great for players with tennis elbow still, but overall more comfortable

I'm already playing the ezone 98 and curious about the new one vs the aero 98, since my racquet is a bit broken and I have to buy a new one. Waiting for in depth reviews
@louisedyhlen32344 күн бұрын
there hundreds of aero 98 reviews out there: I can give you my tldr review: high launch angle, great for spin, incredibly versitile with really good touch for net play and touch in general. A little lackluster in directinal control at times but great depth, not the best serve racket for pure flat serves, since the racket almost always adds a lot of spin no matter how hard you try.
@perigolo4 күн бұрын
@louisedyhlen3234 thx, I was not clear, I meant reviews for the new ezone 98. I already playtested the aero 98 and liked it better than the ezone at the baseline and kickserve, but disliked it for the flat and slice (the slice makes no sense in my mind but that's what I felt)
@samburrell32883 күн бұрын
The old solinco whiteout was very nearly a very good racket. The ezone 98 DR is one of the best rackets of all time, I used it for the first time today, not the best looking paint job but it plays amazing. I'm using pure strike VS at the moment and it's very good just slightly stiff. We need to bring back glossy paint too. The ezone 98 isn't bad but can't beat the DR
@islandmerchandise30174 күн бұрын
Nrg is an awesome string. I would say most club players are better off with multi or gut. They simply don’t hit enough spin and pace to make use of multi.
@The4.0Guy4 күн бұрын
Does the paint/stiffness thing mean that a beige vcore98 would play softer than the regular red one?

Blade was released in January so it had the whole year to accumulate the sales
@saugus23 күн бұрын
Wow the days of Pure Drive, Aero Pro Drive and Pro Staff dominating the market are over!! 98 is the new 100 !!! And somehow I find myself right in the middle of that trend. Went from Ezone 98 to Blade 98 (pro 18x20) to Aero 98. As a 4.5 (7-8 UTR) I find any of those 5 frames far better than all the rest and I own a tennis pro shop business that has me testing all the frames. The only ones I would add to the list for a 4.0-5.0 player is VCore line, Volkl v8 series, Prince Phantom series All excellent

I would like some in depth analysis of the sales. I guess this is a top 5 TW in America ? What about regional differences? What is the top 5 overall? (Not just on TW). How about if we include the racket line (with no distinction of the head size or specs). Sorry but I just don't get much info here

@raytrace20144 күн бұрын
I think RPM Blast is fairly comfy and muted, especially in thinner gauges like 1.20. I definitely wouldn't put it on the stiff and uncomfortable poly list.
@raytrace20144 күн бұрын
It does lose that magic spin once the coating wears off though. Plays like a bog standard used poly after that.

Not a Jan release, but the new radical looks slick 😮💨
@samburrell32883 күн бұрын
Babolat blast is one of the most overrated strings of all time, over priced too. Solinco outlast is excellent as is solinco tour bite diamond rough but that one needs to be bought in minimum 1.25 if not it will break too fast. The outlast can be bought in 1.20 or 1.25 and will last well in either. Hyper G is too hard, even the soft version is too hard

And when they do you should get the current Gen Radical (MP) when they go on sale. It's very nice. Like a faster Speed Pro. I'm playing with it now.
@Jingoa4 күн бұрын
@@K4R3N +1 to this -- the Rad MP is really underrated. I've tried just about everything (an embarrassing number) and it still ended up being my frame of choice. New one is unlikely to be that different (early reports confirm this), aside from a more extreme paint job, so it's a great time to stock up on the current gen.
