It's because your strings are strung too tight

warming up properly is super important when you're playing in the cold, can't tell you how/how long exactly to warm up since i don't have experience playing that cold, but when i play in colder temps i typically start off with my sweats/jacket on, stretch thoroughly, and keep it easy until i start feeling warm.
