For any one who did not see the match snd wondering why meddy got pissed off. ... Meddy thought that Rune did not apologize after makiing that shot and was being cocky.. When umpire says Rune apologized.. Meddy goes back and apologizes to Rune.. He even tries to explain this at the end of the match while shaking hands.. I'm sure everyone understands his frustrations over losing the game. In addition to having his intentions questioned along the way. And at the same time being accused of not apologizing in the situation, when in fact it was the very first thing he did. Having said that, I think Medvedev displayed very good manners, and if I heard things correctly, I think he said after the game that if Rune wanted, they could talk about it in the locker room afterwards. Something Rune said was not necessary. But I'm sure Rune just needed to cool down and they sorted things out and are all good.

I did not hear what Rune said..as his volume was low.. i heard it as a murmur and Rune walked away kinda unimpressed.. Completely leaving what happened in this match behind, I would not say Rune is a villain , but Rune is definitely a crybaby 😆.. which might be one of the factors he loses matches even after playing well..

At the end of the day Rune didn't do anything wrong, but neither did Medvedev. The difference between the two is that Medvedev does it in his typical impromptu and surreal way and never fails to put a smile on people's faces. Rune, on the other hand, always has that tense look of someone who takes himself too seriously for no reason
