I don't want to disrespect Nadal, Federer, or Djokovic but sometimes I feel like I'm watching points between those 2(Sinner and Alcaraz) guys that I've never seen before. It's really out of this world ! There's currently no other player who can compete with those 2 on a regular basis, they are really a big step ahead of everybody! Just imagine how good you have to be for that to happen ! Well done to those 2 incredible players !!! Sinner was really gracious despite the loss.

@@mschatz2 Yes and I feel a bit bad about saying that because I've been watching Tennis for many many years, but yeah sometimes it feels like they have reached another level. What's impressed me the most is the fact they can hit the ball extremely hard on a regular basis and at the same time be precise and they rarely make a mistake. In addition to that the intensity they manage to keep up throughout the match. Every single of their match is "BRUTAL" in the litteral sense ! And I feel like I'm watching 2 guys boxing ! But may be that's because for the first time we have the very best players in this game with a quite similar game. Before you had an opposition of style, Nadal could be brutal, though, he didn't have the length and the consistent power of Alcaraz/Sinner, at the same time Federer had some power and incredible skills but his game was not like "Brutal" but more subtil. Djokovic was the perfect combination of Federer and Nadal! Now we have 2 guys with extremely good court coverage, that can basically kill you in 1 shot using their backhand or their forehand from anywhere ! I don't think I've ever seen that!

Carlos is sometimes lazy when he leads. Going for quick winners instead of actually bagging the break or the tie break or confirming the break. He coud have won in two if he had not released his grip in the first set. He had so many opportunities that he squandered. But if he is at risk of losing then he raises he level. A bit like Nole. Jannik is more constant.
