@Eren Jaeger But not playing better. The opposition has been weaker. The only match he was at 2015/16 level was the Semi final at RG with Rafa. That was a huge game so he put all his energy into that. But on average, he is lacking energy, and that starts with the diet. At wimbledon vs Shapavalov he was signalling how unsteady he felt to the coaching team.
@sppecials6063 жыл бұрын
@@QueArgh @ you're not alone with such thinking, I am thinking the same, although he won many slams after the diet was introduced I'd say that in general he lacks power, he is not as fast as he used to be, his serve has deteoriated after the diet, that's what was most obvious to me. I wouldn't say it's destroying his body cause it's generally healthy way of living but for a professional player it is not a good option. I hear in 2016 he turned to some Spanish guru regarding the diet and put him ahead of his then coach Boris Becker so Boris simply left. I assume Boris didn't agree with his decision to turn to diet.
@QueArgh3 жыл бұрын
@@sppecials606 Yes. His coaches actually force him to eat fish, to retain muscle mass. Whilst i disagree that a plant based- mostly vegan diet is healthy, im glad we can agree it is *not* a good diet for sport. Thats interesting about Boris, never knew the reason he left. As you say though, there has been a significant decline in Noles strength and agility since 2016, diet change cant be coincidental.
