Yibing Wu was playing really well in 2022 with notable results and was looking like the next star from China but he had to retire from a match against Tiafoe at Wimbledon. It was to do with his heart rate being nearly 200 bpm - he had to quit midway through the post-match interview and I think he later collapsed in the changing room that day. Incredibly, he retired whilst winning a match in Washington a month later (August 2023) and then collapsed on court - this was well documented and reported at the time. I suspect he's been fitted with a pacemaker - I have heard of several footballers who have had ICDs fitted.

There is so much commentary about Sinner and WADA going around. However, whether folks think it’s right or wrong, the fact that he is still playing this kind of tennis and winning is amazing. I can’t imagine what he must be feeling or thinking going through all of this.
