When I was younger I played in the same club as my dad. He always told me, if he ever saw me throw a racket or act unsportsmanlike he would pull me off the court. With that being said, I played a match and played terribly. I threw my racket at the wall. My dad walked on court, picked up my racket, congratulated my opponent on a well played match and promptly pulled me from the court. At the time I was livid, but now I tell my dad that was the right thing to do. Since then I would like to say that I have become a more gracious loser. Incredible move from my dad.
