Crazy that this was in 2009, Dio died the next year when he lost against cancer. RIP tiny little man with a giant voice.

There’s only one guy singing here and that’s Ronnie Dio. This was just before he passed away from stomach cancer and no doubt was feeling it here. You’ve reacted to an earlier track of his called Rainbow in the Dark with owned band Dio from ‘83 or ‘84. I’ve seen this man live over a dozen and he never phoned it in and sang every song as if each person in the audience was hearing for the first time. The single greatest rock vocalist in music history. Check out ‘Mistreated’ by the band Rainbow 1977 Live in Munich. IMO opinion the single greatest vocal performance in rock history. What a wonderful treat it would be for everyone to hear you ready to that song. It’s a long one but worth every second. Remember… it must choose the Rainbow Live in Munich 1977 video . All the others are wonderful but Ronnie was in the zone that night.

My English Brother, Dio was in his 60s, in this performance. It was RONNIE JAMES DIO, who brought the MOLOYK, or commonly known as the horns, to the masses. It was t o ward off, or give the evil EYE. THIS hand gesture is about some 300 years old!

I've always been a Dio fan, but, tbh, his studio performances were his best. From the 1970s...check out "Man on the Silver Mountain" just Epic...

That’s not true at all. There is/was no one better live than Ronnie James Dio and it’s not even close. It wasn’t until he was in his 60’s that he declined and of course he was dealing with stomach cancer at the end. Every live recording from 1958 until about 2004 was gold though and I’ve seen the man about 14 times and he was never off and I mean never. The man was a freak of nature.
