I love when Avi, a Basso Profundo begins the song in his tenor voice. He has a nice 5 octave range plus is a Polyphonic Singer in which he has a great whistle note range.

I believe you did catch the 2 times (at least) where Avi went from singing a lead line in upper baritone and immediately dropped down at least 2 octaves to hit the bass line. He's quite adept at that, partly from having been an opera major in college, trained as a basso profundo.

Great reaction! Just found found you and it's wonderful to see someone who can truly appreciate the nuances of music and point out things I sometimes miss no matter how familiar I am with a song. If you want to hear Pentatonix turn an established Christmas song on its head, check out their version of "Oh Come, All Ye Faithful." It's incredible what they did with it, honestly. Or, if you want to hear them play with harmony and scales, check out "Angels We Have Heard On High." Both are arranged incredibly.
