Thanks Michael. I was wondering if you would ever be able to shed any light or knowledge on the vocal technique behind “good” modern popular music singers. I’m referring to a lighter sound, where the vocal chords thin out. This is to produce a softer, more elegant and agile vocal tone. The type you could sing a baby to sleep with. I feel as though there is still a different between how loud and how “full” a sound is right? For example, you could sing a baby to sleep at a soft volume, but still maintain a very solid chord closure, and on the other hand you could have the chords coming together very lightly in a head voice. If I had one specific question I’ve been trying to figure out over my singing career, is, should head voice and chest voice still have the exact same placement on the same pitch. That is, can you start in a light head voice on middle c, and simple lean or swell into a chest voice, then back off again into a head voice, without modifying the placement?

So it’s opposite of Caruso breathe technique? Because when I tried your method with abdominal in, my chest lift everytime but I feel that I have more air than ever, but the question is do I need so much air?specially for singing modern music , pop, rock. I found the method when I breathe in, expanded and don’t collapse the most useful. What do you think about?

I can't breathe properly to play any wind instrument to learn appoggio, and I haven't got money or time to learn an instrument, probably won't until I'm past 30 or 40. As wll, high pitch and loud noise hurts my sensitive ears. Is there an age at which attempting to enter music is futile - at which the amount of catching up to do us too much for someone easily exhausted with a dysfunctional speaking voice to acheive? I am Ethan, if you should see this and want to respond.

It depends, professionally it's soon too late, for pleasure there is age limit to learn and improve.
Let's "Undo" (soft style-sighing support method)
