The deck goes second, dark hole is just one of the options to break field. Other common options are Lightning Storm, Forbidden Droplet, Heavy Storm, Harpie just to name some common ones

You can chain all the effects to synchro and/or the effect of sangen kaimen at any point to avoid battle destruction by geting Faidra.

Just a heads up, you do not need to attack with Chundra to use its effect to special summon from deck, just as long as someone battles while Chundra is on the field. Now with this combo guide out I can see the exact lines for how to play this deck. Also beaver warrior is my favorite tenpai dragon 💪 and an actual suggestion, people should be playing outs to big destruction immune monsters (i think theres a synchro 7 that bounces on attack) and i am talking from expirience because its very annoying for tenpai to deal with a 5k attack chengyeng

Duelittle chimera can help you combo through shifter with a paidra and chundra as starter. Here is the combo: activate shifter > opponent pass turn > empty opp field or break their board with board breakers > normal paidra > activate paidra to add kaimen > summon chundra > link both into chimera > go battle phase > activate kaimen > add and summon chundra > attack with either monster > during dmg step, summon paidra from deck > deal 6100 dmg (chimera boosts your monsters by 500 atk) > activate a tenpai to synchro into bident > deal 3100 dmg. This deals 9200 dmg which is an otk through an empty board(with board breakers and shifter).

@@Dodothegreat. Rudy rose is just a good option to have in case you can’t OTK thanks to your opponent’s grave somehow Blade dragon can destroy any card on summon so it’s main use is destroying something like nightmare pain for example or any hard to deal with card

​​@@Moha-MasterDuel Dora Dora is a really good 1 card starter with sangenpai bident and chundra with field spell board before bp Combo line: Normal dora dora > add genroku > summon genroku > tribute to summon paidra > paidra add field spell > field spell add chundra > summon chundra > synchro to bident > summon back chundra > synchro into sangenpai trident with lvl 7 synchro and either dora dora or paidra. Cmiiw but this deals 31k dmg to your opp with an empty board. Im still learning but this seems to be the best board you can make with tenpai

No it’s not toxic. It’s perfect for a game with Bo1. Player who played second have more chance now. Before if you lose the toss you just lose the game. Konami should always do this. One meta deck going first and another second. I won against Tenpai with a Salamangreat deck…

It's only really powerful going second so you will always going first against it and can end you turn with a good board. Use some omni negates and tenpai will be in big trouble. Tearlaments was and is good at both going first and going second. Tenpai is "just" beatdown. But yes, it's a pretty good deck.

This deck is totally no brain, and the problem is not only tenpai cards but also the cards like Raigeki, Forbidden Droplet... who can quickly leave you without defense even with normally strong decks against Tenpai like Yubel. You play shifter to hope opponent just passes turn 1 so you can otk on an empty board

Said this in another reply but here is the combo: activate shifter > opponent pass turn > empty opp field or break their board with board breakers > normal paidra > activate paidra to add kaimen > summon chundra > link both into chimera > go battle phase > activate kaimen > add and summon chundra > attack with either monster > during dmg step, summon paidra from deck > deal 6100 dmg (chimera boosts your monsters by 500 atk) > activate a tenpai to synchro into bident > deal 3100 dmg. This deals 9200 dmg which is an otk through an empty board(with board breakers and shifter).

Another is with only chundra. Activate shifter > opp pass turn > normal chundra > go battle > attack with chundra > activate chundra effect > summon paidra > paidra add kaimen > attack with both tenpais > synchro into bident > attack with bident > activate kaimen to add and summon paidra > attack with paidra > synchro into sangenpai trident > attack for game. This deals 10500 dmg but its weak to a 1500 atk or higher monster without board breakers.

Yeah waboku and threatening roar can help u survive. But u have to draw it or play it in rollback deck. Yubel's phantom pain kills this deck thats why. But tenpai play so much board breaker that they are 50-50 with yubel (either yubel sets up nightmare pain first, or tenpai can blow up yubel's backrow first)

@Moha-MasterDuel I run a solid amount of hand traps its just the issue is a luck one. I run 2 ash, gamma, and C, also veiler, imperm, shifter. But I'm drawing driver in like 30% of my games. Like it's REAL bad. I just went a game where i had like 10 turns to out a stun player, and all i drew was hand traps, and not a single tenpai.
