Well u can win but it’s really hard, u didn’t show us game where they draw heavy storm or feather duster or lightning storm which is really common, + red reboot isn t ban in master duel, nothing u can do if it happend. Cool video, keep up bro

@@xDevilz974 you can say red reboot is a natural counter of any trap decks. Nothing to do. Unless you have HT. But, if they are unable to finish you in that turn, you have a bigger chance to win because of the bonus trap set.

I know pure Labyrinth can handle tenpai but I'm having a little more fun playing Plunder-Lab. Gets a little amusing when I see a Lab mirror match since my normal Plunder line isn't as effective. Against Tenpai, its even matchup.

Best est I found to deal with these danm bastard is to 1 have dimensional barrier,2 have the trap that negates all quick continuous and field speel for the rest of the turn, and the best one or worst against these bastards is to have dimensional fissure, continuous spell that banish all monster when they leave the field, not only that but these card work amazing well against ubel decks since the mostly relied on spell, so as long as you're able to keep the lady in the field to bring back the anti spell they legit can't fight back

In this deck it is a matter of choice. Basically HTs don't give extra benefit to Lab, except nibiru that enables a trick play with Furnitures & big welcome. The pros, they are fast. Normal Traps in the other hand are slower, but with arias and cooclock all normal traps are like HTs. They give extra benefits and all are searchable by Lady & Trap Trick.

Red Reboot makes Lab less of a contender against Tenpai, it's auto lose when they open with it.

Don't be worry, it's 2 cards of 40 or more cards in their deck. Somehow If they can't finish you that turn, you have higher winning chance.

@Kiriemy this is the obvious counter, but it's not obvious to pitch daruma. Normally, you would just have rollback in the grave by itself and use traps to send them to grave. But with RR, you can't even use any traps to send to grave.

Backjack works great as discard fodder & things like Needlebug nest or Gastly glitch (Dark sacrifice also sends him to the gy)... but is more of a win more than putting pressure like other cards do, as, unless trap heavy, isn't always reliable

Not to sound ungrateful or rude, but when all these "anti-tenpai" decks are almost/just as expensive as it (sometimes even more so) it makes me wonder if i shouldn't just spend all those resources on the tenpai one instead...

If you want to play a non-interactive single player game, go ahead and build tenpai. The benefit of all the other decks is being able to interact with your opponent, and make it feel like an actual game between two players.

I'm definitely a little biased because I've been on lab since their release in MD but I'd say getting the lab core cards is a pretty good investment, lab may not be the best deck in the room but since it was introduced lady is always lurking around and you can always adjust your trap lineup to have a decent winrate vs the current flavour of the month... One added benefit of labrynth is it requires you to know when/where to fire your interruptions it's not as simple as saying no to everything your opponents do by clicking shiny button... It's very rewarding when you get the interactions right and the grind game of labrynth is quite good... If this sounds fun to you then lab is a better pick than tenpai

I understand your pain, Lab is super expensive, but it's a deck you'll get a lot of Mileage out of. Tenpai will probably eventually get nerfed, but Lab will only get more powerful. Plus, they'll eventually unlimit the furniture(Copium) and we still have traps like Dominus impulse coming in the future. Also, Tenpai decks(Optimal ones that is) are more expensive than Lab. Pretty much the whole deck is made of UR's. Lab will probably be better and cheaper by comparison. Also, until you get the whole UR trap lineup, you can still play stuff like Weighbridge, Compulsory Evacuation Device and Lost wind as budget options.

I only 1 copy each of Daruma and Black Goat. Any shot the deck can work with just that? I guess not since trap trick is in the deck. Time get to crafting it looks like 🥲

You can make it work, but ideally you'd want at least 2 Daruma Karma Cannons. Black goat is okay at one, you can get 2 max and be good forever. I bought into the hype too much and got 3 lol. 3 is too much, 2 will cover you forever. Same with Terrors if you plan on getting those.
