One thing that comes across with this - and other songs from this era. They are having a great laugh, and the songs are fun and tongue in cheek with clever lyrics. Not like now, where they take themselves utterly seriously, yet produce songs with lyrics an eight year old could write. And its not a generational thing - my parents hated my music 'cos it was loud, sometimes funny, sometimes rude, and disrespectful. I hate my kids music because its just plain boring.

That is because all of us Soul Boys and New Ted's are coming back, through Matchbox, Rocky Sharpe and the Replays and Dexys Midnight Runners and Meghan Trainor, though I also agreed with someone, that she can be classed as Doo Wop. Not that this song and some others have been good Punk songs. I have just realised, I think I have put this comment to the wrong video. For those of you who don't know whom I was talking about, I was talking about Meghan Trainor.
