Спасибо большое ☺️ As a professional ballerina trained in Moscow (Большой Балет) I really appreciate this video. Not a lot of people realize the importance of Diana et Acreon - it’s THE ONLY piece of choreography by the great Aggripina Vaganova! I really appreciate that Katya Krysanova (someone I’ve always looked up to) did not change the choreography of her variation like so many even great ballerinas do. She kept the left turn combination as opposed to subbing in the saut de chat. As a lefty who was coached by Yelena Ryabinkina rigorously to do EVERYTHING to the right EVEN BETTER than the left I take exception when some change the choreography to avoid the left side in Vaganova’s original version.
