Tensar - DCP (Dynamic Cone Penetrometer) Testing - Soft Soils

Conducting a DCP (Dynamic Cone Penetrometer ) test to determine a California Bearing Ratio (CBR) with Kevin Good of Coleman Moore Company.
This test measures the current subgrade strength prior to roadway construction. CBR value helps engineers calculate soil suitable to build on or require Tensar geogrid to strengthen the area.
With the correct design and geogrid improvements, this pavement section will handle anticipated traffic for the roads design life.
