I'm 60 years old and I've spent 26 years behind bars it all started when I was a juvenile delinquent at age 11 . If you don't wanna regret things you do wrong stay away from doing any crimes !!! ​​@@andreajohnson4376 I spent a couple nights at CCDC in 2011, when this was being filmed and I was in the holding tank with a girl who came in kicking and spitting (may have even been that first girl in this episode) and they had put the spit mask in her and filmed it . . . Later, they came to our holding tank to have her sign a release form for the show and they told her that if she signed it they wouldn't charge her for fighting/spitting at the officers, etc. she said yes. So they took her across to an empty cell to film a quick "after" shot of the officers taking her out of the side cell for having sobered up. Then they brought her back to our holding cell.

​@@erikdraven1731 as someone who has been through CCDC booking, while they were filming, its not fake. But they will recreate some of the "after" scenes, like when the inmate has sobered up and is taken out of the side cell. Because sometimes that happens while other things are being filmed or while the crew is on break and so they miss it and have to pull the person back out and recreate the "ok you're sober now, come on out" segments. The inmates often are very willing to do this because they're told they won't be charged for their behavior against the officers if they agree to sign the release forms. Or they'll give them some extra food or something

I had many fights in the booking room. However, my worse experiences have been with drunk women. One woman decided to fight my sergeant and I. While she was on the ground, she pulled her pants down …. She reached under her butt as I tried to pull her hand out. I then smelled an awful odor and the woman pooped in her hand. She then tried to smear her feces in my face. She missed but she did smear it on my lower part of my shirt. I immediately palm struck her in the head and later found out I gave her a concussion. It was all on video. Long story short, I was exonerated on use of my force and she got two years due to her lengthy violent history.

The cop 27:45 is a prime example of what all law enforcement should be. Real and respectful. Most cops on these shows wont shake suspects hands. He does it without being prompted and it is a clear sign of respect to people down on their luck. I bet that means so much to these people.

Bail isn't just based on the crime itself...someone's criminal history also factors in. Say she's stolen a lot of things before and jumped bail in the past...those both factor in to the cost of any subsequent arrests (whether for the bail-jumping or another crime).

While most employers do offer it, it's often a sizable part of one's check paid out for it; for example, out of the ~$1500 I'd be getting a month at my job, the offered insurance would be nearly 20% (or $300) for one person (let alone having to cover my dependents)...throw in over $800 for rent and around $400 for utilities and I'm out of money for anything else (like food, childcare, or transportation pursuant to being a parent).
