This guy needs help. Why can’t these first responders call mental health people and take care of this guy. This is sad to watch.
@Connie-u6pАй бұрын
They do call mental health. They do offer help.

Does LASHA actually help anyone? Every time I see those ladies they are just standing around doing literally NOTHING!
@flanagamerАй бұрын
Exactly, they could spend hours just talking to one of these people, getting to know them. It seems like they’re very formulaic when it comes to offering help instead of trying to understand each individual. I’m sure they’re severely understaffed so they probably know that what they do inevitably won’t really matter. Plus they know homeless services in L.A. are spread thin. I guess at the end of the day they know nothing will change, which must be disheartening

This guy's problem is he's been doing drugs for years and it messes up your brain where you can't think straight. He did it to himself. He knows how screwed up everything is right now but still refuses to go to rehab to beat his drug addiction. He would rather do drugs and live like this then to get help.
@martyb9807Ай бұрын
He was in the Marine Corps and ends up like this? Sad.
@DerekWill-p1bАй бұрын
Instead of LAHSA, who mostly just talk to each other, the mental health people should be talking to these people. The police and park rangers are not trained or educated to help people with obvious mental problems.

@rickhenk8363 From all of the videos on this channel I've see, why is it that 99% of the time is it a police officer, park rangers, or sanitation workers talking to the people with obvious mental problems while the LAHSA people watch?

These homeless are choosing drugs and thus they are tweaking which causes them to collect all kinds of crap that they take from dumpsters, peoples yards and everything they can get their hands on while they are tweaking.
