@@danielx5039 I don't believe Ken teaches people how to scream though. He teaches a low level of distortion and leaves it up to his students to learn it themselves cause he's not a fan of heavy vocal distortion. I bought his course before he went to a subscription model and, at most, you can make your voice gravelly if you stick to what he says to a T. It's mostly restriction of air flow when you sing.

Mate this is an unbelievable cover. It actually brought a tear to my eye. The mixing is something Joe would be proud of, the bass, guitars and the drums are tight and lean, all killer no filler, Rob, Phoenix and Brad would be too. Mike's flow was I thought impossible to replicate let alone extrapolate to something new. Chester was like a big brother to me spiritually and he lives on in all of us who loved him. Your singing isn't so much about cloning their style you captured their soul.

Not the same as seeing them live with Chester of course but I bet a LOT of fans would be incredibly happy to get the experience of hearing these vocals live that can't get that anymore. You really do justice to the sound. Idk how much acknowledgment you have gotten from bands/artists over the years doing your styles vids/covers but I hope LP has seen the ones you do in their style because I'm sure they'd agree it's damn near perfect. Amazing how on point the Shinoda was. Proof that some people just get the differences in vocal inflection and even delivery styles of some rappers. Notably on the hall of fame line; Em went louder and more overt there, where you turned the intensity down as Mike, which is exactly what he'd do there. Only thing I could say is that I honestly thing that Mike would almost laugh during the delivery of "he's too mainstream", but then again, maybe I'm getting that more from his Fort Minor work and he wouldn't go that route while working with Linkin Park.
