@englishwithteacheraparna7 ай бұрын
Thanks very much🙏 "Have you met him before?" suggests that you're asking if the person has had any previous encounter with him without specifying a particular time frame. It's a general inquiry about past meetings. "Did you meet him already?" implies that there's a specific time frame or event in mind, and you're asking if the meeting has already taken place within that frame. It's a bit more specific.

சூழ்நிலையை புரிந்துகொண்ட பின்பே அதற்கு ஏற்றாற்போலத்தான் மொழி மாற்றம் செய்யவேண்டும். ஒருவருக்கு அழைப்பு விடுத்தலையும் தொடர்ந்து செய்யும் ஒரு வேலையையும் ஒன்றாக ஒப்பிடக்கூடாது. Examples: They are shouting at me. They are calling me. இந்த ரெண்டு வாக்கியங்களும் என்னதான் present continuous'ஆக இருந்தாலும் they are calling me என்ற செயல் அந்த ஒரு நொடியில் முடிந்து விடும் செயல். இருப்பினும் அழைப்பு விட்டவர்களை நாம் சந்திக்கும் வரை ஒரு தாக்கத்திற்காக present continuous உபயோகிக்கின்றோம்.

@englishwithteacheraparna6 ай бұрын
It's simple. Both are formal prepositional phrases that mean BECAUSE OF SOMETHING. However, there is a slight difference. Due to is more specific than owing to. Examples: She was absent from work due to severe abdominal pain. She was absent from work owing to physical illness. Otherwise, both are synonymous with each other.

Sorry, you have misunderstood. I have just been to a supermarket = I went to a supermarket and just came back. She has just been to a grocery store = she went to a grocery store and just came back. Likewise... I have just been "OUT" (for what? = shopping). Meaning = I went out and just came back.

While use panra idathla when use pannalama mam? When i was cooking lunch ,my friends were playing tennis ,idu correct aa mam? While she was talking to her dad some one knocked at the door nu thaana mam varum
@englishwithteacheraparna7 ай бұрын
All AS, WHEN, WHILE - all these three are used to introduce a longer background action which is going on when something else happens or happened, HOWEVER in the particular example you have given it is better to use WHILE, and not HAVE. My friends were playing tennis while I was cooking lunch." WHY? It is because... "The word "while" indicates that both actions were happening simultaneously, which provides a clearer picture of the timing." No. 2: "She was talking to her dad when someone knocked at the door." "While she was talking to her dad, someone knocked at the door." Both these sentences are precise. Both sentences effectively convey that the knock happened during her conversation with her dad.

Mam, what's different between the paradox and contradiction?
@englishwithteacheraparna8 ай бұрын
Beautiful question 👌 Paradox = two opposing ideas - both are true. E.g. A rich country with poverty. Contradiction = difference between two ideas - one of them has to be wrong. E.g. You say that you are best friends, but you don't trust him. Isn't that a contradiction.

Mam 1) Do you come? or Are you coming? which one is correct2) Do & Will what is the difference?
@englishwithteacheraparna5 ай бұрын
Do you come...? Is about mostly questioning the regularity of an action? Examples: Do you come to office on time? Do you go to gym every day? Note: Do you come? (This itself isn't a complete meaningful interrogative sentence) Are you coming....? Is about one time action. Are you coming to the party? Are you coming to the meeting?
@englishwithteacheraparna5 ай бұрын
Regarding DO and WILL. One of the meanings of Will is to talk about what generally happens, which is the key function of DO. Examples: Oil will foalt on water = Oil does float on water. Both convey the same message. Other than this, WILL is predominantly for FUTURE.

Both are correct. Future continuous has several usages. One of them is certainty - the one that will definitely happen, which is almost equivalent to present continuous for planned action. Moreover, when we use present continuous for planned action, there is no need to use the phrase AS PLANNED.

செய்கிறேன் என்பது செய்கின்றேன் என்று அல்லவா பொருள் தரும் அதாவது இப்பொழுது அச்செயல் நடைபெற்றுக் கொண்டிருக்கிறது. உதாரணமாக.. A: நீ என்ன செய்கிறாய்? B: நான் சமையல் செய்கிறேன். Simple present forms: நான் எப்பொழுதும் உண்மையைத்தான் சொல்வேன் = I always speak truth. நான் அதிகாலையில் எழுவேன் = I get up early in the morning. அது போல "செய்வேன்."

As far as I know, we use both the forms for the simple present tense. It depends. இந்தப் பள்ளியில் நான் ஆசிரியராகப் பணிபுரிகிறேன். - I work as a teacher in this school. Here, we don't use பணிபுரிவேன்.
