Wow... This is sad. Listening to this just... Broke me. This was my last year in High School, and I would have liked to have a nice farewell, not something like this... This pandemic made me realize how much I like my friends, my teachers... I felt warmth there, more than I feel sometimes at home.. Making jokes, bothering some friends, just... Being able to see each other... I miss that, and it hurts to know that I will not be able to go back to that classroom that sometimes... Was like my home and thank everyone for everything.. I'm in a similar spot. All but one member of our core friend group is graduating this year, and I really feel bad for him. All the memories we made together are special and I don't want those days to end anytime soon, but here it comes :(

Out of our group (four of us are in the same grade and one is in a lower grade), three of us (one being me) attend the same school currently, as my best friend is in a different school (the one in the lower grade) will go to her school as well. We're still keeping in touch though. And in case one of you is reading this (I doubt it though), I just want to say thank you for making these memories with me. Every school day, I looked forwards into seeing you guys even if I was in a bad mood. You made me really happy, thank you. For my best friend, thanks for being friends with me and staying by my side no matter how many times I tripped and fell, and tolerating my shy and quietness back then. It's making me think back to the time I spent in high school. I graduate college in less than a month, and I really can't believe it's been so long already. Time fucking flies, you have to appreciate what you have while you can. Things change, and sometimes that's hard, but it's not always bad. This hits even harder when I can listen and underatand. It really is making me think back to the very last musical I did in high school and how much I loved it. Making me think back on memories in a positive way rather than a sad way. Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.

I made all my life long friends in middle school between 2010 and 2013. It's 2021 and I still talk to them and do things with them all the time. Larry Caseres I prefer that line tbh, using “tomorrow” rather than “graduation” makes it a lot less… literal, as the direct translation of these lyrics tend to be. Makes it flow nicer and feel more poetic while still addressing the same exact topic of the original lyrics
