I understand if you disagree. I fully support the preservation of traditional Gorshey and our cultural dances. However, embracing the evolving Gorshey can benefit our community by inspiring younger generations to participate in Tibetan events, fostering a sense of belonging and identity. This evolution also renews interest in traditional Tibetan costumes and supports businesses like restaurants(during Lhakar)and Chupa designers. Additionally, Gorshey provides health benefits such as lowering blood pressure and relaxing muscles. Participating in these new forms of Gorshey can offer children a productive break from social media and games. While the trending Gorshey may need refinement, resisting these positive changes could lead to division and conflict. It’s more beneficial to support and improve these developments for the sake of future generations. A more inclusive and optimistic approach will help us move forward together.
