In response to your question - back in the day, we would hand sketch tensile structures on paper. Today, with advances in technology, we use specialist software designed for our business to develop tensile fabric patterns and shapes. It's an exciting time to be in the industry. what software was used to create the 3d models? i am currently using ads max and having difficulty to achieve the realistic fall and tension. any help with this would be great, thank you.

+fairo www.marvelousdesigner.com/product/overview/ used in games and enterainment and fashion for cloth sim. could do some interesting stuff in architecture i'd think. so far only simple arch applications in gallery. potential is there i think to use to explore ideas rapidly. you'd probably want some autodesk structural engineering software for the real cad model
