not just useful, it was extremely useful. 1.very great pace to help process the information (nothing done too quick to confuse anyone) 2. Clearly shows what has been done, and for what reason 3. shortcuts, to cut the process for people interested. 4. concise information, and consistent with quality. 5. presented in a manner that is cohesive for many individuals cant thank you enough for the education

Hi, any chance you could make the example you showed at the end available for download ? That would be very helpful

Thanks for the information. Do you can explain how do you work with the compliance machine information? Greetings

Thank you for the useful video! I have a question, I still don't understand how you determine the yield stress. I'm also working on the discontinuous yielding case; we usually determine it by the lower yield strength. Why in this case you determine the yield stress as the region when it changes from elastic to plastic deformation? Not based on upper yield strength or lower yield strength? Thank you!

Thank you very much, I'm supposed to know all of this already but of course when it comes down to it I'm watching intro youtube videos.

Great Video! and Great Efforts Highly Appreciated! May i ask you for the raw data from the machine for 1 ductile and 1 brittle material so i can do the analysis myself ?

Thank you for this! Helped me a lot. Just a question: if you don't have the software you used in the video (i.e. no line to drag with the same angle as the gradient of the elastic region), how can you calculate the elastic + plastic strain to failure using Excel?

Hello, in the earlier parts of the excel, the force measured was a negative.. You mentioned that there are things that you could do to adjust that. Would you need to correct it before making the stress strain curve. If so what would you do? Also the yield stress that you selected at the end of 301. Is that just based on the graph before it undergoes plastic deformation?

Enjoyed your accent and style. I am thinking though for strain it should be mm / mm . In the video you divide microns by millimetres. Think all your values in strain column are 1000 times larger than they should be.
