Owner thinks just get stars and it works. It doesn't. Brooker has never been as good as some think he is. He worst games of the year have been in the playoffs in close out games. DK just puts up numbers but has it really helped his teams win? Only GS who was stacked at the time. Beal gets numbers and his teams have always lost. So empty stats. None of their big three are worth being called big. They don't win when it matters all three get their stats in loses game after game. Sad for Sun fans over the next 10+ years there is no chance of the Suns ever being good. There is no assets or money. They are tied to Brook who never been that good. Beal who's numbers have always been empty. And DK who puts up numbers but never seems to win unless the team carries him like GS.

This was likely discussion from yesterday. Booker scored 39 last night yet, they lost a Hornets team that was 7 - 27. That's inexcusable! From what I saw last night, they were outrebounded yet again on the offensive boards. More shot opportunities for the other team. 'After scoring 25 against the 76ers, Beal scored only 10pts (From what I recall) The Suns definitely have issues. Whether or not it's Trade talks or other things. They may not even make the play-in at this rate. After a great start at 8 - 1, I'm not sure what's happening despite the early injuries to KD, Booker, and Beal. O'neal is now injured nad has been a huge contributor.

9:20 I have always maintained that legit superteams are teams that operate at a superior level. The more recent phenomenon of big 3s is not a superteam-it is merely a superstar-led team. There can be some overlap, but the former is something like the 80s Lakers or the 90s Bulls or 10s Warriors. Sum greater than its parts and such. Coaching and front office must be phenomenal, too. The latter? Simply acquiring 3 established stars at the expense of any chemistry, player development, etc. This iteration is only a "superteam" insofar as it makes for a ready-made narrative that ends in spectacular failure. The Suns should have seen this. The Nets should have seen this. The Sixers should have seen this. In all those instances, that one extra guy (Beal, Harden x 2) leads to gutting your roster and losing any sense of team identity. Anyway, just my nebulously articulated thoughts on some deep-seated feelings. Seems to me folks look at the KD Warriors and fail to realize that the team was already a superteam. They should be looking at the Heatles from year 1 to the back-to-back championships and see that it's the guys like Shane Battier and Mike Miller and Rashard Lewis and UD et. al who need to be there to elevate the parts to a greater sum.

Miami will not take Bradley Beal because he lacks any type of defensive skill. He does hold all the cards and he’s probably not gonna go anywhere for three years. The Suns made their bed and now they have to lie in it. They might have to trade Devin Booker and Kevin Durant to get some picks to rebuild cause Bradley Beal is gonna hold them up.

The old saying. The only thing you can control is your effort on defense. You may not hit shots that night because that happens. But you can control defense every night. OKC couldn't throw it in the ocean in the cup game, but they did still defend. You give up 97 most nights you win. I do think OKC loses to the Cavs not because the Cavs are better or OKC is bad. It's just time to lose. You can't win them all. Clear OKC and the Cavs are the 2 bests teams. One loses tonight. I think it's OKCs time just because no matter how good you are you lose sometimes. If OKC win it would be huge for sure. But I don't see it because it's just time to lose a game. And it's no shame losing to a very good Cavs team on the road.

I'm a pistons fan and i agree with the most improved thing. But Powell over Cade? He's a good player but cmon. Cade is literally the creator of everything for the Pistons. He not only has to score, with Ivey out, he has to create shots for everyone except maybe Tobias. Cade has always been good, the team around him was garbage.

Honestly Beal is a better player not scorer than booker but he got drafted there and younger that’s basically what it is

I am sure there are other things behind the scenes at ESPN we do no not know, but how is Bontemps a better analyst (or more valuable) than Lowe? (maybe he is just cheaper) But this gentleman is a fountain of negativity and the lack of charisma does not help, and as mentioned somewhere else here, bad chemistry and bickering does not help this pod.... in my opinion, respectfully.
