don't move the hands that much, trust me, put them at 9:15 cuz if you lose the rear of the kart, you can retake it easily, or it becomes difficult

Ya I do agree I drive wrong, but it's basically only for rental karts for weird reasons. I just have to make a video about this at some point. 😅

Pretty much the same speed as every other indoor rental place, so compared to outdoor gas karts, yes it's limp mode. :B

Just curious - Are you purposely defending the entire way through coz everyone is so close to each other? Noticed you're in the middle of the track most of the time with lots of space on the outside for you to open up the corners.

That definitely plays into it a lot of the time, especially if I'm racing with a dive happy group of people. There are times on my hot laps though I end up middle of the track taking a corner because of how the karts react. Since they're electric they get power super fast, and if you're good at feathering the throttle to keep maximum grip while still giving it power, then we don't necessarily need to go wide to maintain momentum. With that said, I experiment a bunch, and if a kart ends up being better going wide in certain turns, then I adjust as needed. Sorry for the late response!

It's just hard to convey the speed I think via video, they go 35-40 mph. We've still had people get concussed and other injuries from the speed. :b

Ha, to each their own. I've been to K1 before, and I personally prefer this place. I think all three places in northeast Ohio have different pros and cons, but are all worth racing at. I do plan to make it out to K1 for a league night or two though, it's just a far drive and hard to make my schedule work. Maybe I'll see you there if you go to those!
